Hey everyone,

I hope you guys' had a relaxing, fun and enjoyable summer. Last day of school before summer vacation start, It was June 17th. On the next day (June 18th) me and my friend Ashely went to Rihanna's concert. I never been in any concert before. It was my first concert and I love It and It was amazing! I also had to baby-sitting my younger brother and my nephew. In this summer, I had a lots of wedding and parties. I went to Thompson with my grandpa/ma and cousin on July 22nd and I think we stayed there for a week. Has I love to go to long drive, we decide to drive a car to the Thompson. Thompson was named after John F. Thompson. Its a very small city but Its beautiful. The places that we visited were PAINT LAKE is a translation of the Cree words "Manuminan Sakahigan" which means Red Paint lake, PISEW FALLS is named after the sound of its falling water which resembles the hissing of lynx. In Cree "pisew" means "lynx" and many others. The reason why we visited was, one of my family friends are moving from Thompson to Calgary and we did not tell them that we are visiting 'cause we think Its better to give them a surprise party. I think we took more then 300 pictures in Thompson. It was pretty fun. My sister-in-law came from Seattle, Washington. She's a dance principal at Pacific Northwest Ballet. I spent some days with her. After that folklorama started, my grandpa is a director for VIP people at Indian Pavilion. So I also had to volunteer at Indian Pavilion for a week. I went to Aboriginal Pavilion and Punjab Pavilion. I went to CLEAR LAKE and FUN MOUNTAIN with my family. Last couple of days I went to hang out with friends. I haven't read a book over this summer. Again, on September 7th I'm going to Maroon 5 concert (Music/Band) with my cousin. Finally! Its time to go back to school now. I'm kind a excited to meet a new teachers and friends. I'm ready for the new challenges. I had a great time this time around!
