Grade 9 went by with a blink of an eye, however, I learned a lot from my first year at Maples Collegiate. Meeting new people was the best part. On the first day of school I didn't know anybody in my classes, but in the end, I became great friends with everyone.
I was scared that teachers in high school were going to be really strict and mean, but I thought completely wrong. Teachers here are super nice, well at least the ones I have right now.
I would have to say the the toughest part of high school is... Exams. Since this was our first year, we didn't know what to expect, but by the end exams werent nearly as bad as how people told me they were. All you have to do is study properly and pay attention during class. Overall my first year in Maples Collegiate was pretty good, but I hope that next year will be much better. I will definetely miss everybody a lot over the summer, but I hope everybody enjoys their holidays too . See everybody in September, bye . (:
